Recommendations from the Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) for cleaning and sanitizing have been put in place. We have immediately began disinfecting the entire facility. All branch employees that have been in direct contact with the individual that tested positive, will be tested and have been instructed to remain quarantined until test results are received. As a precaution, First Missouri State Bank encourages all customers who visited the Poplar Bluff Location within the last 10 days to monitor themselves for COVID symptoms and seek medical care if needed. It should be mentioned that the positive case employee did not have any contact with customers during the last 10 days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we remain in a drive through only capacity to ensure the safety of our employees, families, and the community. In order to keep our customers and staff as healthy as possible throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic, we have taken immediate action based on the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by limiting lobby access. Our Drive-Thru windows will continue to operate during normal banking hours at both our Poplar Bluff & Fisk Locations.
We have enhanced our in branch daily cleaning practices and our staff is adhering to the social distancing recommendations released by the CDC. We have tightened our staff’s travel/vacation restrictions, including the stoppage of all non-essential work trips. We are encouraging telephone conference calls over in-person bank meetings, and for a limited time we are recognizing non-contact forms of greeting over the traditional handshake.
Please give us a call at 573-785-6800 to schedule an appointment to complete any of the following: Safe Deposit Box Services, Essential Loan Discussion, New Deposit Account Openings, and Critical Banking Business that cannot be completed over the telephone. Please be prepared to answer our health screening questions when scheduling your appointment. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
